Faulkes Telescope Themed Observing Days - 12th 23rd and 26th March
21st February 2010

The Faulkes Telescope Project has announced it's latest Themed Observing Day:

"As mentioned previously, we are going to run several themed observing days to image M101 as a large Mosaic.  These will be held on the 12th, 23rd and 26th March 2010.

We have set up something different for booking your slots this time, hopefully making it easier to handle your requests; a Doodle Page has been set up at the following address:

Just put your school name in the box on the left and mark the slot you would like to book in the next column.  Please choose only one slot per school and make sure that you do not book a slot that has already been taken by another school.

When all the slots have been chosen on this page we will transfer them to your school telescope account.  Observing details will then be forwarded to the lucky participants.  These will include the coordinates, exposure times and filter choice.

When all the images have been collected, we will make them up into a composite image of M101."
